Streamlining exit planning
to scale globally

Succession Plus is a specialist strategic advisory firm that assists SME owners to unlock business value through sale or succession.

Through an industry-leading IP, the 21-Step Business Succession & Exit Planning process, Succession Plus assesses financial performance, non-financial maturity, and risk, to provide business owners with a roadmap to improve profitability and exit successfully.

Despite the high demand for the 21-step process, the advisory faced scalability challenges due to a limited number of advisors and time-consuming and arduous measurement methods.

To scale internationally, Succession Plus needed to transcend the traditional employee-adviser model with a new offering.

Juicebox saw an opportunity to design and develop a digital platform, Capitaliz, that would automate the renowned 21-step process, thereby streamlining advisory services and delivering more value to clients in less time.

Capitaliz aimed to penetrate key markets in the US, UK, and India, onboard over 200 new advisers by FY2024, and enhance the value of more than 500 businesses. To achieve this, Juicebox set out to:

  • Digitise the 21-step process: Seamlessly integrate the process while maintaining its integrity and effectiveness.
  • Map the existing customer journey: Identify pain points and opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Design a user-friendly onboarding process: Develop an intuitive onboarding experience to educate users on the platform’s benefits and functionality.
  • Integrate with accounting platforms: Integrate with major accounting systems and global business data centres to ensure accurate data and insights.
  • Streamline the valuation process: Create a purpose-built digital platform that maximises intellectual property and scalability.

This transformation enabled advisers to engage with a larger number of clients across multiple geographic markets, resulting in efficiency gains, cost savings, increased client acquisition, and revenue generation.
